Chris Ramsay, the host of the Ramsay Oldies show, is a 55 year old oldies fan living in the Washington D. C. area. Blind since birth, he has been cultivating his taste for the greatest music of all time since age 2 when he could first reach a radio dial. Born in Port Huron, Michigan he had the privilege of listening to great Motown music all of his life on one of the greatest radio stations in the rock era, CKLW in Windsor Ontario, a Canadian town right across the river from Detroit. At age 15 he made the move to the Washington DC area, finding the music of the late 60s on radio stations like WPGC and WEAM. From 1970 to 1976 he spent time in Williamsburg, Virginia, at the College of William and Mary, where the golden oldies were featured on great sations like WGH in Norfolk and WRVQ Richmond Virginia.

After graduating from William and Mary Ramsay married and had 2 children, Elizabeth and David, now ages 20 and 19, who are learning to appreciate the oldies. He currently lives in the suburbs of Washington DC where he is a retired government worker with the body and heart of a 50s and 60s DJ. Loving Radio and the oldies all his life he now seeks to bring you the greatest music of all time, presented in the way you like it, each week on the internet.
